For this project I used a transparent fabric to blur the lens and then used a flood light I have to light the rooms in my house at night.

Module 4: Final Series

For my final series I decided to further develop my portrait series. I originally wanted to photograph my whole body but it was too dark so I did my upper body instead. I wanted to use my arms and neck more to create interesting compositions. I came up with the poses while reflecting behind the camera on previous shots and based on the faces and how I fiddled while looking at the shots I came up with poses. I also have my eyes open in most of the shots because I have a condition that keeps my eyes open when I sleep so I wanted to reflect that in my photos. In the first photo I actually fell afterwards and bruised my tailbone and that was one of the first photos I took so I was in a mild level of pain in the rest of the photos.

Module 3: Portrait

I decided to do self portraits for this module because I don't take photos of myself and I wanted to change the way my face looked without editing it a lot so I used my hands to move my face around instead.
